The third annual Google International Franchise Assembly (GIFA) Assembly was held at Google’s Mountain View California headquarters on May 7 and 8, 2015. The theme this year was Discover. Each year Google has a goal to empower and educate multi-unit brands and franchise executives in developing complete digital marketing strategies. Goal successfully completed!
Todd Rowe, Director Global Channel Sales asked a very powerful question. “What one new idea will #GIFA2015 attendees implement in the next 90 days?”
That’s not an easy question to answer after two days packed with content from the Google Channel Sales Franchise Team!

GIFA2015 was also the perfect opportunity to test a new social platform, Periscope. Jennifer MacDonald, Digital Marketing Visionary at TideSmart Global and Susan King , VP Operations Fit4Mom and I did several live video streams via Periscope. We heard Gopti loud and clear and weren’t the least afraid to experiment with digital marketing!
